5
Does it hurt to get piercings?
The bad answer is that everyone handles pain differently. In my opinion if piercings were that unbearable they wouldn’t be such a fun, popular way to express yourself. Most piercings are done in actual seconds so worst case scenario you feel some heat, a little tingle and soreness. Nothing to write home about, I promise you can do it! The worst thing to do is ask other people, come in and see for yourself just how easy it truly is! We pride ourselves on giving you a sterile, fast, fun stabbing experience.
6
Can I go swimming right after a piercing?
Nope, we recommend not submerging your new piercing(s) for a 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑚𝑢𝑚 of 8-10 weeks. This includes, tubs, oceans/lakes, pools; salt water included. The aforementioned all contain bacteria that can cause infection, irritation and contribute to a longer/more difficult heal. Plan trips and activities accordingly. We do encourage showering regularly to keep yourself and your piercings clean. We love good hygiene!
7
I looked it up online, can I make my own solution?
This is highly discouraged. We sell top of the line sterile saline to help irrigate crusty build up, while keeping your piercings happy and squeaky clean. People that make their own solutions risk using improper ingredients and proportions that can severely damage your piercings and cause a slew of complications. Please don’t put so much faith in the mountains of terrible advice on the internet. That’s what we’re here for! We love answering your questions to the best of our ability so you can have the smoothest possible healing experience and then you can show off your new additions without worry!
8
Can I start with a hoop/ring?
We unfortunately do not start off with rings, except for daiths, septum’s, and orbitals. The reason for this is because of the immense amount of movement a ring causes, which will cause irritation, therefore prolonging the healing process.
9
How many piercings can I get at once?
The max amount of piercings we will do at a time is 3! Too many piercings at a time will cause a prolonged healing process!
10
Do you do piercings on babies/infants?
We unfortunately no longer piercing babies or infants. We pierce children 6 and up with a notarized letter of consent, along with a copy of their birth certificate.
11
If I have my own jewelry can you pierce with it?
We unfortunately do not pierce with any outside jewelry, the reason for this is because we have no idea what kind of metal the piece you have is, even if the company says it’s something doesn’t mean that it isn’t mixed with other metals!
12
I usually have allergic reactions to jewelry that isn’t real gold, is your jewelry nickel free?
We only carry Jewelry Companies with the highest quality of metals, meaning all of our titanium is nickel free, We also carry 14-18kt gold ends!
