Daniel Lavery
Founder & Tattooer
Dan Lavery became focused on tattoos and tattooing at a young age, he began seeking an apprenticeship in 1997 and was successful in the summer of 1999. He began tattooing professionally full time starting in the summer of 2002. An accomplished artist, Dan has traveled and worked throughout the US and parts of Europe. His work has been published in several books and numerous magazines, including Tattoo, Tattoo Flash, Skin and Ink, and Tatuaz… as well as several trade journals including Prick, Crave and the NTA newsletter. Dan has also attended and had work place in many national and international tattoo conventions including New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and of course Long island.
Dan is partial to work in American Traditional and Japanese styles, but also loves lettering and black and grey work. We decided to open Liberty Tattoo Company as a place for artists to make a way for themselves ,while also working together to build a top notch shop with an impeccable reputation.
Jon Sudano
Tattooer
Jon Sudano is an accomplished, award- winning and stand out tattoo artist from Long Island. Jon started tattooing in 2009. He prefers to work in Traditional and Black and grey styles, however he is very capable of large scale Japanese work as well as fine line and lettering. Jon loves to paint his own flash and has 1000's of original designs for you to choose from.
Adam H Rothe

Adam has been tattooing professionally since 2014. Bored with his life of waiting tables and serving drinks he dreamed of a life worth living, creating artwork permanently on flesh! Making his home at Liberty Tattoo Company for over 8 years now he is here to better serve the people of Smithtown and the rest of the great shores of Long Island, near and far. Specializing in but not limited to traditional tattooing, he also enjoys doing black and grey and the occasional infinity symbol. Adam is here for any and all body art needs, so don’t be shy! Nick Mascola

Nick Mascola is a Smithtown native. He has been tattooing since 1993. Nick has had his work published in numerous magazines and books. He has won awards at major tattooing conventions including NYC. Nick is also a tattoo machine builder and designer, he has helped educate this generation of tattooers offering guidance and advice to many of his peers along the way. Nicks preferred style is Black and grey, skulls and monsters, and large scale Japanese and religious iconography.
Dillon Perino

Dillon is relatively new to the tattoo industry starting just a few years back, but he doesn't fall short when it comes to tattooing or art in general. Dillon's style is a unique take on American Traditional tattooing. He's got the passion and skills to go far in this industry! When he's not tattooing, he is broadening his horizons by consistently painting and drawing on his off time.
Ian Reyes

Born and raised deep in the heart of Texas, Ian recently moved here with his wife and daughters. Ian has been tattooing for over six years now.
Being a street shop tattooer, Ian is well equipped to tattoo most styles, however he specializes in American and Japanese traditional tattoos. Books are always open whether you're looking for a small banger or a giant back piece, Ian will take care of all of your needs.
